What are Communities? Communities provide a warm and casual environment to meet people and form relationships. These midsize groups of 15 to 60 people function as “small churches” within the larger church body at Hope Church. Regular gatherings include casual fellowship around coffee and treats, group announcements, a prayer and care time, testimonies, and usually lots of laughter! Active learning through interactive Bible teaching is also a core element of a group meeting. Groups also have periodic outside social activities and each group embraces opportunities for serving and outreach. As you consider what group(s) you might want to visit, understand that these communities organize in unique ways such as life stage communities, multi-generational communities, and even ministry passions such as our Worship community. Group descriptions are only guidelines, if you sense a connection to any particular group then go for it and find a place to belong at Hope Church. Some Communities provide another level of relationship building through small groups off campus. These groups consist of couples/singles and/or men’s and women’s groups. If you are interested, just ask your Community Leader for information.
