The Adventure Quest Experience
Sharing God's Redeeming Love with Kids and Helping Them to Discover Their Place in His Story.
Spiritual Formation is about helping kids build a life-long relationship with God. We desire to give kids a strong foundation in biblical knowledge as well as intentionally creating space for them to encounter the living God.
Our mission is to partner with families in the spiritual growth and development of their kids so that, led by the Holy Spirit in His timing; they will be in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
9:00 Service
Early Childhood Center (birth-Kindergarten)-At Kids' Own Worship Children's Church, preschoolers experience worship through fun songs and memorable Bible teaching. Kids' Own Worship reinforces the same Bible stories which kids explore, during the second hour, with Faith Weaver Bible Curriculum.
Grade School Kids will discover The Big God Story with Tru, a unique new curriculum created by David C. Cook and a national network of family and children's ministry leaders. Tru uses the large group/small group format to communicate each Bible story within the context of The Big God Story, so the Bible becomes much more than just a collection of short stories. Each lesson is centered on God and how He works in our lives.
10:40 Service
Early Childhood Center ( birth-Kindergarten)- Faith Weaver Bible Curriculum has been written to take children and their families though the entire Bible over the course of three years. It includes weekly take-home pages which encourage family discussions and provide parents with suggestions for leading family devotions which reinforce the Bible lessons taught at church that week.
Grade School Kids and their shepherds keep the focus on God and responding to Him. Rio, another David C. Cook curriculum, uses the traditional Sunday School model as it strives develop a transformational faith. Rio's Scope and Sequence has been intentionally created to ensure that kids get a full view of the big Bible Study. Rio keeps the focus on God and His grand story and character instead of focusing on individual Bible stories or characters. Kids across all levels of Grade School Ministry will focus on the same God-centered unit theme but use their own age-appropriate Scripture passages. This allows families to share each week what God has shown them about the theme and see how all Scripture reveals more of God.
Mission Sundays
On the first Sunday of each month, during both hours, all Grade School kids experience Mission Sunday. This unique program seeks to help kids develop a heart for the world and an appreciation of different cultures and customs. Kids are introduced to the Hope Church Outreach Ministry Partners and encouraged t o begin thinking about how God might desire to use them, both today and in the future, to reach the world with His amazing love.
