Weekend Opportunities:
Worship Gatherings: 9:00 am & 10:40 am

  Welcome

Thanks for visiting Hope Church online. Hope Church exists to serve others,
offering hope and love through Jesus Christ. We're a place that celebrates relationships, with God and with one another. These relationships are deepened through impacting times of teaching from God's Word, inspiring worship, and vibrant adult, student, and children's ministries, and serving together within our community. We believe people matter to God? and they matter to us! We want to know you better and join you on your journey to becoming a growing Christ follower.

Adventurequest for Kids

BackCountry Kids is for school-age children thru 5th grade. Treehouse Club is a ministry for kids from birth thru 5th grade with special needs. Adults

Adult Community Classes | 10:40 am

Adult Community classes are a big part of our weekend services. Most of them meet the second hour (10:40 am). In these Community groups you will experience long-lasting friendships and be challenged as you discuss various topics from the Bible and from current events. We offer several Community groups for all walks of life. If your visiting Hope Church we encourage you to visit a group anytime. Visit the Community display in the lobby of our building for a complete listing of all the Community groups or click below.

We also enjoy meeting together for worship, signing, and hearing God's Word proclaimed with everyday applications of how we can go deeper with our relationship with God. We celebrate together with inspiring, uplifting contemporary music, dramas, and much more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I Expect?

When you arrive at Hope Church for either our 9:00 or 10:40 am service, you will park and use the main entrance with the covered walkway into our building. Most likely, one of our parking lot assistants (we call them Asphalt Apostles) will greet you. We have several Guest Parking areas to make it easy for you so please take advantage of that opportunity.

What Happens Next?
Upon entering, there will be staff and volunteers who say hello, answer any questions you have, and direct you to where you want to go anywhere on the campus of Hope Church. Our Guest Services Center has special books and brochures which are intended for our guests, so please feel free to take them. Our Guest Reception area in the main lobby is a great place to relax in a comfortable chair and grab a cup of good coffee and pastry. There are also people there who would love to assist you with any questions.

What About The Kids & Teens?
If you have kids, our Pathfinders will take you to the Children’s Ministries area, or to the Nursery. If your kids are shy, they’re welcome to attend the adult service with you, but many kids really enjoy our kid’s church experience. We have exciting classes for all elementary grades, and our Junior and Senior High students have their own spaces called Higher Ground and FUEL where they are welcomed by leaders who are passionate about teenagers.

What Do I Wear?
You’ll notice that everyone is dressed comfortably, in anything from “office casual” to jeans and sneakers. We want everyone to come as they are, so dress as you feel comfortable. In our worship services, we instill the value that the audience is God. If you prefer business attire, office casual, or jeans, then come that way!

What Happens Next?
When you enter the Sanctuary, you’ll be given a copy our Bulletin which has the week’s announcements and future events. The bulletin always has a special insert included so that you can take notes of what you’ll hear–these are often good to refer back to during the week. We also offer a Resource Binder for purchase in the Hope Bookstore for keeping all your inserts organized. You are invited to fill out the Guest Card which is an easy way for us to get better acquainted. When we receive your completed Guest Card, we’ll send you a brief letter within a few days. In fact, you most likely will receive a phone call as well and also a special gift as an expression of our thanks. Don’t worry though, no one will show up unannounced at your door. If, however, you would like one of us to come over for a weekday visit, we are here for you! Just call Outreach Ministries at 459-0800 ext. 323 for an appointment.

How Long Do The Services Last?
Our worship service begins with a welcome and a few announcements on occasion. As a guest, you will never be asked to identify yourself by standing or to raise your hand–so fear not! Sometimes though, our pastors will ask everyone to stand and to say hello to those around them. Our real focus on Sunday morning is worship. For that reason, we begin right away with music. Our Worship Team is made up of singers accompanied by various instruments like: drums, acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and keyboards. At times, there will be a drama or video story to further explore the day’s theme. The morning message will begin about 30 minutes into the service. The messages are about 35-40 minutes long. Our goal is to present the principles of the Christian faith in intelligent, understandable, and relevant terms. Hopefully, you’ll laugh at times and maybe feel a tug at your heart too. The Bible is used in our services and the passages that are mentioned will be seen on the large screen. If you prefer, please feel free to read along using the Bible that is in the seat back in front of you. Also, if you need a Bible, like the one used in the services, please see a host at Guest Services. They would be pleased to offer you one as a gift.

What Is Communion?
Every few months, we celebrate Communion at the end of the service. Communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper) is a Christian celebration of the self-sacrifice of Jesus Christ. If you’re a committed Christian, you’re welcome to share in communion with us, and if not, you can just sit back and enjoy the music. During communion, our Worship Team will be playing and singing. Communion is a voluntary act when believing Christians are given a broken piece of flat bread and a small cup of grape juice. Both of these elements are symbolic of the bread and wine that Jesus used at the Last Supper with His disciples (the night before Good Friday). Each person gets their own (bread and cup) and they are served so
no one has to stand or come forward.

After The Service What Happens?
After the service, you’ll pick up your kids from their classrooms, and then we hope you’ll stay around and meet some people, at our Guest Reception Area. Church is about God and worship, but it’s also about community and relationships, so we hope that you truly experience the warmth and friendliness of Hope Church. It’s the people (not the building) that make the difference. Frequently, our guests tell us that they really felt welcomed at our Sunday morning services. That is the kind of feedback we like to hear. We hope that the phrase “at home” comes to your mind when you visit with us. Know that we’ll be looking for you!
