Ministry: Senior Pastor

My passion in life and in ministry is to receive and extend the pursuing love of Jesus Christ to those God sends across my path. Honestly, because I’m selfish, I struggle with this. But God is in the business of changing us from the inside out, through His Spirit, so that we can become effective channels of His grace to those around us. As Senior Pastor, I am charged with casting vision, leading our Staff, staying culturally connected, communicating relevant, Biblical messages, promoting spiritual growth, stewarding Hope’s resources, and praying faithfully that God would protect us, transform us, and send us out in pursuit of His Kingdom purposes…in His world…for His glory!!

As Pastor for Ministry Development, I partner with Pastor Stephen to lead and direct the other six members of our “Lead Team” as well as the rest of our staff team. God has assembled an outstanding team of men and women to serve Hope Church and it’s a joy to work alongside them. Furthermore I oversee the daily operations of our church – facilities, finances, and personnel among others. I also have the privilege of coordinating CoNext which is our class for new members.

Blending my passion for God and a love for His people makes my position as Pastor of Mission, Outreach and Assimilation a fulfilling role. Mobilizing others to join me in helping the Hope Church family put love in action in our community, our city and throughout the world is both challenging and rewarding. Backed by a team of volunteers, we look for ways to welcome everyone who walks through the front door and we support ministry partners throughout the world.

Pastor for Adult Discipleship
Ministry: Adult Discipleship

One of the things I love about God is that He desires not only to save us but to change us, to make us more like His Son, Jesus (Romans 8:29).  And so He gives us His Word, the Scriptures, to teach us who He is and how He calls us to live; He gives us His
Holy Spirit to live within us to help us understand and live according to His Word; and He gives us His people to encourage us, to teach us, to pray with and for us, calling us to do the same for them.  As Pastor for Adult Discipleship, I oversee ministries like our Campus and Home Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries and Prayer Ministry, ministries that exist to bring people together in authentic community so that we might link arms and walk together into a life of greater faithfulness to Jesus, for our joy and His glory!

Tim Dommer

Worship Pastor
Ministry: Worship

My position at Hope is Pastor of Worship. I lead the worship and arts department at Hope which prepares music and other different art forms for corporate worship each week. Along with Pastor Stephen, I help architect each weekly service and coordinate the leaders of each element involved in the service. I am also a worship leader, direct the Hope Choir, lead the praise team, plan and prepare outreach events, workshops, retreats and congregational special events. We are really blessed at Hope with some incredibly talented people in the arts, but more importantly, God is making us into a community that really loves Him and is learning how to love each other!

Steve Griebling

Pastor for Spiritual Direction
Ministry: Spiritual Direction

Our passion and purpose at Hope Church is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love others as ourselves. With a view to helping people discover ways to take the next step in their connection to Christ and loving people right where they are my position covers a broad scope. My heart is to help equip others to discover and use their spiritual gifts and to ensure that our church body is ready and able to meet the needs of one another by offering counseling, comfort and direction in a variety of changing life situations. Together we will celebrate births, marriages, baptisms and pray together through illness, mourning loss and managing struggles. Through it all, by God's grace, we will grow stronger in our love for the Lord, deeper in our commitment to each other and reach farther with the love of Christ, for His great glory and for others' great joy!

Sharon Mason

Kids Ministry Director
Ministry: Kids Ministries
513.459.0800 ext. 707 | smason@hopemason.org

As the Kids’ Ministry Director I work with staff, volunteers, parents and kids.  I oversee a staff of committed and gifted ladies that God has assembled here to lead Kids’ Ministry.  Together we help volunteers discover and develop their gifts as they serve the body while working with kids.  Partnering with parents is our vision.  This plays out by providing ministry to children and by helping parents discover what it means to raise a child in a godly home.  And finally, the best part of my job is that I get to be with the kids!

I am privileged to give leadership to two Hope Church ministries that are having a significant impact on the next generation. I currently serve as the Lead Pastor of Student Ministries. In this role, I lead, encourage, and oversee the amazing team that leads Hope’s youth ministry. On occasion, I serve at student ministry events and programs. Secondly, I direct a Fellows Program here at Hope. Fellows is part of a national initiative (www.thefellowsinitiative.com) that aims to equip recent college graduates with the tools necessary to live faithfully in all aspects of life (work, family, church, culture, etc.). In addition to this, I am a teacher/preacher at Hope Church and I maintain a daily blog at www.brianmease.tumblr.com.
