May 25 - Celebration Sunday Don’t miss this day of celebration:
- At 10:00 am, we will gather for ONE MORNING SERVICE in the sanctuary.
- Hope’s new Sr. Pastor, Stephen Kirk, will preach and be commissioned at this one 10:00 am service.
- This is a FAMILY SERVICE, so Kids’ Ministries, Student Ministries, and Adult Communities will NOT meet this morning. Instead, we invite you to gather in the sanctuary to worship together at 10:00 am.
- A PICNIC will be held on the Hope Church grounds immediately following the service. All are welcome to join in this time of joyful fellowship and welcome for Pastor Stephen Kirk.
Stephen Kirk - Hope Church's New Senior Pastor
The congregation has overwhelmingly approved and affirmed Stephen Kirk as the new Senior Pastor of Hope Church. Plans are being made for Stephen and his family's arrival to the Mason area and we will keep you informed once those plans become available.
We are so excited about what God is doing at Hope Church. We are praising God for His protection and guidance as He continues to make known the steps for Stephen, his family, and for Hope Church. We lovingly welcome the Kirk family to our Hope Church family.
What can I do? Please be in prayer for Stephen and his family as they make this transition. Many details need to be worked out for the moving process from Indiana to our area.
As Stephen challenged us on Sunday, March 16, let us be on our knees in prayer asking God what he would have us do in the future as a church and as individuals.

Letter from Stephen Kirk / April 2008 - Hope Church's New Senior Pastor
Greetings Hope Church family! Thank you again for your warm reception of me and my entire family last month and for your humbling affirmation of God’s call on my life to become your next Senior Pastor. Though certainly a bit of a surreal day, we walked away sensing that this is indeed where God wants us to call home, that you all are who He wants us to call family. We look forward to getting to know you in the months and years to come. I wanted to update you on how our transition into Cincy is coming along. By the grace of God—truly a confirmation of His hand over this call—we have sold our home in West Lafayette, IN and have purchased a home in the southeastern part of West Chester. Please pray for us as we finalize all the many details regarding these two transactions, and seek to finish well in the various ministries to which I give oversight and with the many friends to whom we are saying good bye. Our current plan is to move into town at the end of May/beginning of June. I will begin in earnest on Monday, June 16th, but I look forward to being with you all Memorial Day weekend. We are planning to have a single worship service that day —at which I will be preaching—so that we can celebrate the Lord as a Body and then enjoy a picnic together out on the lawn. I know Hope has endured a great deal of change over the past number of years, and I know that some of that change has been costly for many of you. Uncertainty is often quite unsettling for all of us. And yet, through it all, the Lord has been faithful and you have been patient. I truly believe He will honor your commitment to Him and to one another. I want you to know that I don’t see my coming as a beginning of ministry, rather I see it as a coming-alongside; joining you in the ministry that Christ is already doing among you and through you by His Spirit and joining your pastors and elders in seeking to equip you further through the Word for the new ministry that lies on the horizon! I look forward with eager expectation to what God is going to do among us for His glory! Sharing the adventure, Pastor Stephen
Streams of Hope Nursing Home Ministry Every 4th Sunday at Heritage Springs Nursing Home this Hope Nursing Home Ministry gathers to bless both the residents and the staff. Ron Dotson, our l eader gives the Word of God and prays with the people and Tom White plays piano during a period of worship. The precious residents of Heritage Springs look forward to our visits and are blessed by the messages, prayers, and friendship. They don't often get visitors nor do they get to go to Church. This service helps them to have a future and a hope in Jesus and eliminates the feeling of loneliness and despair.
If you can play an instrument, sing, or simply feel led to share in the worship experience with the residents and staff, contact Ron Dotson at 513-420-1610 or e-mail at rondotson@donet.com.
